LONG LIVE SUMMER NIGHTS
This month’s hot tips were provided by our own OG, Cool Kid, Serena
48-HOURS IN KINGSVILLE THIS JUNE
WHY NOT SPEND YOUR DAY RELAXING?
Kingsville is one of those places that, once you visit, you’ll ask yourself, “why have I never been here before?” (if you have, thank you so much for coming back!). This area is always the perfect stop for the food-lovin’, wine-sippin’, beer-drinkin’, bird-watchin’, outdoor traveler. Touting the honour of being Canada’s “most-southern town” comes with some great perks – milder temperatures, amazing local produce all year long and, Lake Erie, of course. Less than an hour from Windsor and only a couple hours from Toronto, we honestly can’t think of a better place to spend a night or two, or more – right now!
CHECK OUT SOME LOCAL PATIOS
Looking for a place to soak up all this glorious sun this month? Cocktails just hit differently on a patio, don’t they?! Well, here is our list of top “must-go” patios:
You can’t go wrong with this place – well-known and established in our community, they bring you a great restaurant and brewery with amazing offerings. Enjoy locally sourced and creative dishes, paired with craft cocktails or a pint of their craft beer.
Located right on Main Street in Kingsville – this restaurant is by Kingsville Brewery and specializes in creating exciting dishes designed to pair with their many delicious craft beer offerings.
This place is FUN for the whole family! From their chicken and waffles to the mini donuts, everyone will be happy dancin’! Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and exciting drink specials. Not to mention their incredible patio with views of Lake Erie.
Mettawas Station Italian Mediterranean Grill
This beautifully restored historic train station provides a wonderful fine dining atmosphere, with a beautiful patio to boot. We highly recommend the arancini, clams, and any of the homemade cheesecake of the month!
NEXT UP – OUR LOCAL BEACHES ARE THE BOMB…life is better in flips flops anyways!
This list is for the beach bums, and sun soakers. Here is our list of top local beaches:
This beach is the best kept secret in the area – much less busy than the other beaches. Equipped with washrooms, playground, and new for June 2023, a MOBI mat for easy mobility access! The views of Lake Erie are picture-worthy! They will also be having fun “Play at the Beach” days on June 16th & 30th from 2pm-4pm. Kids, or any treasure-hunting fan can dig up gems, bones, gold, and build the biggest sandcastle!
This beach area has it all…not to mention it is walking distance to our new MOTEL being built (est. opening Aug 23). Pirate playground, splashpad, washrooms, concession stand, and a beach volleyball court. This is the place to be if you want to have fun in the sun!
